Rosalynde Price

In 1993, I started practising for a voluntary organisation called Off The Record. Then, as a fully qualified Gestalt Practitioner, I ran a private practice in Norwich from 1995 to 2001, when I moved to Wales. I have now returned to Norwich.

I trained at GATE (Gestalt Awareness Training & Experience) for four years and am a member of GAUK (Gestalt Association UK) and of BACP (British Association of Counsellors and Psychotherapy. I am also a Founder Member of Gateway.

As a published poet, I’m interested in the words clients use to describe the world and themselves and how those words can change. I enjoy the possibility that Gestalt gives me to work creatively, employing imagination, dreams, visualisations and images.

I graduated from the University of East Anglia in 1990 with a BA Honours Degree in English literature and I have three grown-up daughters.

Ivor Solomons

I trained for 5 years at Cambridge GATE. Before that I gained therapeutic experience through a wide variety of therapies and groups.

I have practised as a therapist since 1997, spending some time working at the St. Barnabas Counselling Centre. I am now a member of Gateway, a group of qualified Gestalt therapists in Norwich.

I approach my clients with openness, respectfulness and realism. I like to use humour when that is appropriate and useful. For me, every client is a unique person who has their own reality.

I graduated from the University of East Anglia with a BA Honours degree in Social Studies. I have two grown-up daughters.

Pat Bullock

I began my own personal development in earnest in 1995, because of an overwhelming need to understand my life in relationship to everything around me. I decided to explore Gestalt in 1998 on a Foundation course with Cambridge GATE (Gestalt Awareness Training and Experience) and having completed this, made a commitment to the whole course to become a practising Gestaltist. I achieved my goal in 2004. Since 2001, I have worked as a volunteer counsellor at Off The Record Counselling service in Norwich. I am a member of GAUK (Gestalt Association UK) and a Founder member of Gateway.

I believe life is a natural flow of energy that enables us to meet our needs and stay in balance. When this energy gets blocked in any way, difficulties occur. My approach to working with people, which includes working with dreams, is to support them to become aware of how their life energy is blocked. By resolving inner conflicts and waking up to the choices available, a person can really begin to experience life fully.

With a background in education, specialising in social, emotional and behavioural difficulties.  My experiences a trainer and teacher fuelled my interest in emotional health, human behaviour and social interaction.  This led to studying person centred counselling, holistic massage and shiatsu.  I also have certificates in creative group work and restorative approaches to conflict.

After experiencing Gestalt therapy for myself I completed a four year training program in Psychotherapy at the Metanoia Institute, London.  I have worked for local counselling organisations; Off the Record and MAP as well as my own private practise.
